Welcome to Zip Codes Service

Zip Codes service is a web service for seaching zip code, city and area code databases.
Currently the web service supports the following data:
- US zip codes and cities
- Canadian postal codes and cities
- US area codes - User-Defined Places (UDPs)

Zip Codes service can be used as an office locator, for demographic research, for zip code and city name validation.

User-defined places are supported, that means you can upload your own locations and search directly against them. For an example see Office Depot search on the right or in the Demo section. For more information on how to get started with user-defined places go to Tutorial.

The web service uses SOAP and HTTP is easy to integrate into existing applications. It requires virtually no maintenance after the initial integration. No need to download databases and keep them up to date or figure out distance calculation formulas. Just call Zip Codes web service using your favorite SOAP toolkit or even plain HTTP Get/Post.
